Why are my passwords accounts incorrect???? - Guild Wars Forums

Guys, I just bought the trilogy of guild wars.
I started for installing Prophecies, i created an account, played the game for a few hours, and log out.
When i tried to enter again, with the EXACTLY same account name and password, it appears password incorrect code=227..

I tested the guildwars nightfall, did the same process, created an account entered and logged out imediately just to check if i could enter again.. and guess what: CODE=227

Can someone help me, i don't find answer to this issue anywhere!

Did you enter the character name you created as well?

The first time you create an account you can log in with just Email and Password, but as soon as you create a character to play you need to enter a name of a character on the account as well to be able to log in.

Yep, you must likely suffer from the problem Rushin Roulette mentioned. Anet added some extra account protection, not to long ago, where you need to type in the name of one of your characters

Uh oh... You should not have created a separate account for nightfall. You want the three games tied together on the same account. You may need to create a support ticket with NCSoft to get this corrected, even if it was a simple matter of not following the directions on the login screen.

No no. You enter the e-mail, and password, and in the third box below where it says 'Security Question' - you enter a character name on the account created.

But read above, if you've created multiple accounts for different games, you're going to have a problem there. Surely you want all the games on one account?

Yes angel i want all 3 games on 1 account ... how do i correct this ?

Thank you finally i can enter the game..i needed to put the name of the character in the security question (Who would thought of that? )

But now i want all the 3 games in one account..
How do i do it?

You said you bought "the trilogy of Guild Wars". Did you buy ONE box, or THREE boxes? Because if one, it should have come with only ONE key to create an account, and that one key gives access to all campaigns. If there were two keys, one may be a guest pass.

If you bought three separate boxes, and have now created two accounts - with two different email addresses - you're basically SOL. Accounts can't be combined after the fact.

Yes, accounts can be combined. Just email [email protected] and put NEW ACCOUNT PROBLEM in subject line. In the body of the message, give them the account ID (emails used) and the ACCESS CODE(S) and character names. Ask them politely to combine the accounts. Remember that any progress made on the other account will be lost.

I bought the trilogy wich comes with 3 boxes: prophecies, nightfall and eye of the north expansion. So what now? yes i created 2 different accounts with different e-mails! what does it mean: You're basically SOL??

1. The package called the Trilogy is an all in one package which comes in one box with one access key code.

2. No you are not SOL. Just follow my instructions in my previous post.

But in each box, Prophecies and NightFall, there was different game cards with different keys .. and yes i bought the trilogy pack!

they use to answer? or it just takes some time to fix the problem?
